Job Summary
Apprentice Linemen/Groundsman works with line crews in the power/utility industry supporting linemen who install and maintain electrical distribution and transmission lines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up job sites and safety zones
Hand tools and materials to lineman
Dig holes, set poles and anchor guy wires
Operate equipment augers, trenchers, bucket trucks
Once trained direct traffic in work zones
Maintain and organize tools and trucks
Qualifications
Basic understanding of electricity and safety
Ability to follow strict safety protocols
Team communication - working closely with a crew
Class C or Class A Driver's License; CDL preferred
