Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with cardiac drips and post-cath lab care is required.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure (CHF), hypertension, chest pain work-ups, COPD exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure.
RNs are required to titrate drips.
Common titratable and/or set-rate drips include analgesics for pain, anticoagulants for blood clots, and antihypertensives for blood pressure control.
Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, HFNC, and NRB.
Telemetry technicians monitor 24/7; RNs co-sign strips.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night-shift schedules include 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Call/standby requirements are determined by the nurse manager.
Clinicians must be in state during orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote.
Floating Requirements:
May be asked to float into any other acuity level: ICU (take low-acuity holds with skill set), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele; in an extreme need, may float within Zone 3 to OCH, LUH, SAH, or SAN.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
