Conyers offers access to both outdoor recreation and metro Atlanta convenience. The city is home to Olde Town Conyers, a walkable historic district with local shops and dining, and it sits about 25 miles east of downtown Atlanta for access to major entertainment and transit connections. Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area is within about 20 miles and features hiking and biking trails, while Panola Mountain State Park is also within driving distance for climbing, kayaking, and nature programs.
